Happy Birthday SUPERFAN!

Meet Janie, AKA “SUPERFAN”. Today is her birthday! So please help me wish her a very happy birthday!!

Most of you have either met or seen her at my shows for years now - wether it’s at a solo-acoustic show of mine or one of the many bands I performed with over the years… Zedos, Failed Superhero, …AS IS or Bling Crosby.

We started calling her “Superfan” back in the Zedos days. She not only came to every single show of ours but she would go to more concerts than anyone we ever met. Over the years, she has been a big part of any project I have been involved in. She came to NYC with us when …AS IS performed at the legendary CBGB, she introduced the next project, Failed Superhero, by unveiling the band’s banner on stage at our first show at Lazy Chameleon and she continues to support, not only me and my mates, but many local Columbus bands and countless national acts. She is truly a super fan and is well deserving of the moniker, SUPERFAN!

She has been so supportive and such a dear friend over the years that I decided that on her birthday this year I would do something special for her.

So today I am introducing “SUPERFAN” in honor of Janie.

As a way of saying thank you to her and to all those that have supported me and continue to support me and my music, in her honor, I will be doing some things I have never done before and sharing it exclusively with you on the new  SUPERFAN page on my website. All of the things she has asked me to do over the years will be on this page over the next couple of months. This includes a special show dedicated to her and her awesomeness. You are the best Janie! I love you my dear friend and I hope all of these crazy things you want me to do end up being something that brings a smile to your beautiful face. Happy HAPPY birthday girl! You are the best!
